Work's becoming more demanding (but not as demanding as MCM), so I might not be up to update so often anymore. But I'll still try to update with the main highlights and accompanying pictures =)

Meet up with my bestie and Denise for dinner! We went to some Turkish eatery in Far East Plaza. And Denise had to embarrass herself, "Why got no place to sit one?!" A second later she turned to the left and burst out laughing the Denise-embarrassed laugh.

Some things never change.

Then Denise pointed out to us an item on the menu. "Egg in fry pan". The three of us looked at it, and couldn't stop laughing. Two from MCM, two from NTU Lit. What would we make of that? HAHA. Yes there were only three of us. Denise was from MCM and is from NTU Lit mah. I passed my maths ok.

21 August

Chase bought me a CJ7 toy. Very unique toy. Its pink! =D


Now it's sitting in between both our tables, looking at me while I work. So cute!

Met up with Leeping after getting off early from work, and went on a shopping spree! Oh my I spent more than $250 in half a day.

I bought a skirt I've been wanting for so long, and of course, a new pair of pretty shoes from adidas!


With the bling! Perfect.

Wanted Jeff and Wanyun to join us, but they were busy with their other halves, and we made Jeff feel bad so he said he would treat us next week. YAY.

Then we went to Swensens for an earthquake! Pure pleasure.

22 August

Jiaying's birthday surprise! Bought her a mango mousse cake, and gave her her birthday present. Colourful colourful birthday present =) Another two candles in the office now, haha.

Later at night went out with Chase for my belated birthday present. Needed some food to digest all the alcohol later, so we went to Sakae Sushi at PS for some food first. But with Chase, how is that enough? She decided to introduce sake to me, and we ended up having three bottles of warm sake.


But it's very nice to drink on a cold rainy night, just warms you from the inside.

Then we headed to Clarke Quay and settled at Kandibar.


We made the shots ourselves, well, mostly Chase made them.


Drink up, for losing the taxi number bet! =D

Went to Sun Plaza's Sakae Sushi for grandpa's birthday dinner. We were not courteous when we were ordering food.

Then went to my old house area to meet Ryan for awhile, and ended up going to DXO (for $1 entry) but we only stayed for like five minutes, then went to Butter Factory in the VIP line, but left after our Heinekens for bak kut teh and back home.

24 August

Met Ben for my belated birthday lunch at the glass house of Fish & Co. after his run at the Padang. Nice to see him with some hair now, haha. But it was great catching up, haven't met him for a few weeks. I swear I have the sweetest godbrother on earth. I'm a lucky girl. Or Ben would call me a lucky "woman".

Looking forward to many things coming soon: meetup with TriMedia, Chiang Mai, Ho Chi Minh, 6/7 gathering, Desaru and not forgetting 5th September (with Chase)!
